The is a hybrid opportunity with 2-days onsite in Irving, TX, Duluth/Suwanee, GA, Asburn, VA, or Overland Park, KS. Candidates MUST be local to one of the listed locations. This role is not open to C2C, OPT, or any Visa consideration. No vendor support of any kind allowed. Core Job Requirements 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or advanced business intelligence roles within a modern data stack environment Advanced proficiency in SQL with demonstrated experience building performant, well-modeled analytical datasets Hands-on experience with dbt for analytics-layer modeling, testing, and documentation Experience working with cloud data warehouses, preferably Snowflake, including performance tuning and cost-aware design Strong understanding of analytics engineering best practices, including: Star and snowflake schemas Incremental models Fact / dimension separation Medallion Architecture Experience working in a CI/CD-driven analytics environment, including version control, code review, and deployment pipelines Proven ability to partner closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into trusted analytical assets Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or equivalent practical experience Financial Operations & Reporting Domain Expertise (Required Emphasis) Proven experience supporting
Financial Operations, FP&A, Accounting, or Finance Analytics
functions Strong knowledge of financial data domains, including: Financial reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Revenue, expenses, and cost allocation methodologies Actuals vs. forecast vs. plan reporting Financial close and reconciliation processes Experience building and maintaining
financial reporting data models
that serve as a single source of truth for finance teams Ability to design and deliver executive-level dashboards and reporting to support: Finance leadership and FP&A teams Monthly/quarterly business reviews Operational performance tracking and cost optimization Experience integrating and modeling data from financial systems (e.g., ERP platforms such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or similar) Strong understanding of data accuracy, reconciliation, and auditability in financial reporting environments Ability to work with complex, sometimes incomplete financial data and establish trust through validation, controls, and documentation Technical & Platform Skills Advanced SQL and data modeling expertise dbt (models, tests, macros, documentation, exposures) Snowflake (query optimization, warehouse usage patterns, role-based access awareness) Experience integrating data from SaaS and financial systems using ELT tools (e.g., Fivetran, Stitch, etc.) Familiarity with metadata management, data quality frameworks, and data lineage Professional & Communication Skills Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data into
financial and operational insights Clear, concise communicator capable of working with: Finance leadership (FP&A, Accounting, Operations) Data engineering and platform teams Ability to write clear, durable documentation for financial models, metrics, and assumptions High attention to detail with a strong bias toward accuracy, consistency, and auditability Comfortable operating in a federated enterprise environment with multiple upstream financial and operational systems
