Location: The Fordingbridge Day Nursery and Pre-School

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: £28,891 per annum

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources tailored to children's age and development.
  • Ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the EYFS.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery.
  • Support the smooth running of the nursery and ensure the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families.
  • Foster professional relationships and report any concerns to management.
  • Facilitate a strong key person approach to help children form secure attachments.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to stay updated on key priorities and policies.
  • Prioritize children's emotional well-being at all times.
Requirements and Skills:
  • Full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification – essential
  • Fluent in written and spoken English – essential
  • Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years – desirable
  • Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements – desirable
