Position DetailsHours: 40 hours per week (4.5 days)
Salary: £13.08 per hour
About UsAt Rushden Day Nursery, we cater to children aged 0-5 years and also run an out-of-school club for children up to 12 years. Our nursery is rated as GOOD by Ofsted, and we are committed to maintaining high-quality childcare in a friendly, welcoming environment. You will have the opportunity to work with either our younger children (0-3 years) or support our preschool and out-of-school club (3-12 years), depending on your strengths and interests.

As a Nursery Practitioner, your main duties will include:
- Creating stimulating and purposeful experiences for children that are age-appropriate.
- Ensuring compliance with the statutory framework for the EYFS.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery.
- Supporting the smooth running of the nursery and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children and staff.
- Building professional relationships and reporting any concerns to management.
- Facilitating a strong key person approach to help children form secure attachments.
- Participating in regular team meetings to stay updated on key priorities and changes.
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- A full and relevant Level 2 childcare qualification (essential).
- Fluency in written and spoken English (essential).
- Over 1 year of experience in Early Years (desirable).
- Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements (desirable).
