CAD Designer – Switches with 5+ yrs Location: Michigan, USA W2 Roles Design HMI components including switches, touchpads, displays, dynamic lighting, and contactless sensor housings.
Strong experience in small plastic part design with high focus on aesthetics, precision, and gap/flush.
Proficient in Siemens NX and CATIA V5 for 3D modeling, surfacing, and detailing.
Apply DFM for injection molding, including ribs, snaps, bosses, and light guide features.
Support electromechanical packaging with PCB, connectors, LEDs, and sensors.
Create drawings with GD&T and ensure tolerance stack-up meets functional requirements.
Work on BOM, engineering releases, and change management in PLM systems. xzgxqkn
Collaborate with global teams to support prototyping, validation, and production launch.
