Don’t Just Intern—Improve How a Plant Runs.

At ProAmpac, you won’t be doing busy work. As a Continuous Improvement Intern in our Seattle facility, you’ll take on real projects that impact cost, efficiency, and performance across the plant.

You’ll step into a fast-paced environment where you’ll solve problems, analyze data, and see your ideas turn into real results—all while working alongside engineering and operations leaders.

If you naturally think “there’s a better way to do this”—you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Do
  • Work on real projects that improve efficiency, reduce waste, and drive cost savings
  • Help optimize processes and identify smarter ways of working
  • Turn ideas into action through quick wins and improvement initiatives
  • Track project progress, timelines, and results
  • Use tools like 5 Whys, fishbone diagrams, and time studies
  • Analyze data and help teams make better decisions
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and plant teams
What We’re Looking For
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and stays organized
  • Strong communicator who’s comfortable speaking up
  • Interested in problem-solving and working with data
  • Able to collaborate across teams in a hands-on environment
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Bonus Points If You
  • Are pursuing a degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Have exposure to process improvement, Lean, or data analysis
