About
This position is a Temp Assignment Based CT Tech for up to a maximum of 9 months.
Temp Assignment Based CT techs are experienced, proficient technologist within their specialty responsible for providing safe, continuous quality patient care in a variety of settings. These CT techs are temporarily assigned to one unit for a designated number of weeks based on needs of the system. These CT techs possess the skills, competency and qualifications, as well as a requirement to work in any Novant Health location. The CT technologist assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the CT equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.

What We're Looking For:- Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or Graduate of ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program, required.
- Experience:Β One year experience in CT, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification:
- NH Medical Center- Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT at time of hire. Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT) within 6 months of hire, required.
- NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT), required.
- NH Medical Group Office-Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT - RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or CNMT, RT(CT), required.
- IV Credentialed, required.
- Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement
- Applicable state license, required.
