Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 36 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: SimpliFi Program - Advocate Health Midwest and no current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Advocate Health Midwest.

• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: SimpliFi Program - Advocate Health Midwest and no current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Advocate Health Midwest.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: SimpliFi Program - Advocate Health Midwest and no current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Advocate Health Midwest.

Additional Details:

Required Skills / Experience: Cath Lab experience

Knowledge in aseptic technique, sheath pulling, TR band placement/removal, line securement, EKG/cardiac rhythm interpretation

IABP/Impella experience

Preferred Skills / Experience: EPIC Cupid

Unit / Facility Details: Free Parking

Shift & Scheduling: On-Call: On Call 7-10 days per month, including weekends and possible holiday

Weekend Rotation: Only Call shifts, no other scheduled weekend/holiday shifts

Holiday Requirements: Only Call shifts, no other scheduled weekend/holiday shifts

Call Response Time: 30 minutes

Floating Requirements: Possibly to IR

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certification CI (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT))
