About
In this role, you will provide direct leadership and support to a team of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and medical assistants working in an outpatient, community health setting. You will coordinate staffing, scheduling, and daily workflows to maintain safe patient ratios, smooth clinic flow, and timely access to care. The RN Manager serves as a clinical resource and mentor, modeling evidence-based practice, trauma-informed care, and culturally responsive communication with patients and families.
The RN Manager will guide the implementation and continuous improvement of nursing policies, protocols, and quality standards that align with regulatory requirements and Good Samaritan’s organizational goals. You will oversee accurate and compliant documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR), support staff in adopting best practices, and champion initiatives that improve patient safety, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes. This position works closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, behavioral health professionals, and care coordinators to ensure a truly team-based approach to patient care.
A core aspect of this position is developing and empowering nursing staff through coaching, performance evaluations, and ongoing education. The RN Manager will identify training needs, coordinate competencies and certifications, and foster a collaborative culture where staff feel supported in their professional growth. You will play a key role in onboarding new team members and integrating them into Good Samaritan’s mission-driven environment.
Because Good Samaritan Health Center focuses on holistic health and wellness, the RN Manager will help integrate preventive care, chronic disease management, health education, and community resources into everyday nursing practice. You will participate in quality and population health projects, case reviews, and interdisciplinary huddles that address barriers to care, health disparities, and social determinants of health experienced by our patient population.
The ideal candidate brings strong clinical expertise, proven leadership experience, and a passion for serving underserved communities. You should be comfortable balancing direct clinical support with administrative responsibilities such as workflow optimization, resource management, compliance monitoring, and participation in budget-aware decision-making. This role may include occasional hybrid work for administrative tasks, but the RN Manager is primarily present in the clinic to provide visible, hands-on leadership.
Joining Good Samaritan means becoming part of a collaborative team dedicated to meaningful patient outcomes. You can expect an environment that values compassion, integrity, and community engagement, along with opportunities for professional development, leadership growth, and involvement in innovative community health initiatives. If you are an experienced RN leader who thrives in a mission-focused, fast-paced ambulatory care setting and is committed to advancing health equity, we invite you to apply for the RN Manager role.
