For our office in Berlin Mitte we are looking for a
(Junior) Accountant Regulatory Reporting (m/f/d)
- Support production of monthly regulatory reporting to Bundesbank, Compensation Scheme, ECB and BaFin.
- Consolidation of ERFB data from German and Dutch business units and conversion from IFRS to HGB.
- Preparation of certain regulatory reporting content, reports and data feeds, e.g. COREP, FinRep, Statistics, AWV and Pillar 3 disclosures
- Ensures strong controls environment in place including liaison with regulator and external audit
- Support to identify and implement changes to processes to support key regulatory developments
- Support for enhancements of reporting quality to group and regulatory bodies and implementation of Financial Control due to group guidelines
- Demonstrate effective and collaborative working relationships with a wide number of management, finance and risk colleagues
- Supports implementation and enhancement within initiatives in data management and risk management
- Responsibility for data analysis and preparation
- Ensuring data quality, security and traceability
- Bachelor with focus on e.g. accounting, audit, risk, and group accounting
- first experience in regulatory reporting within banking sector (preferably retail banking)
- Good experience in CRR, Statistics, AWV, KWG reporting etc.
- Good analytical and conceptual skills
- Good skills in Excel, Word and Power Point
- Advanced analytical and modeling skills, with knowledge of data tools and data validation
- Proactive, enthusiastic and motivated team player
- Very good verbal and written communications skills in German and English
