About
Hand & Physical Therapy of Wyoming is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team, supporting expert hand therapy and general rehabilitation services for patients in the Jackson area. In this role, you will work under the direction and supervision of licensed Physical Therapists to provide high-quality, patient-centered care, with a strong emphasis on upper extremity and orthopedic conditions. You will assist in implementing individualized treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and the use of therapeutic modalities and equipment to help patients restore function, reduce pain, and improve quality of life. Daily responsibilities include preparing patients for treatment, guiding them through prescribed exercises, monitoring their response and tolerance, and clearly documenting progress and outcomes using electronic medical records. You will educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, proper body mechanics, and strategies to support recovery between visits. Collaboration is central to this position; you will communicate regularly with Physical Therapists and other team members to provide input on patient progress and help adjust treatment plans as needed. You will follow all clinic safety, infection control, and privacy protocols while maintaining a clean, organized treatment area. This opportunity is ideal for a PTA who values a collaborative, supportive, and learning-focused culture and who is interested in deepening their skills in specialized hand therapy and outpatient rehabilitation. At Hand & Physical Therapy of Wyoming, you will work in a close-knit environment that prioritizes compassionate care, clinical excellence, and community impact, with the opportunity to grow professionally alongside an experienced, dedicated team.
