About

Hand & Physical Therapy of Wyoming is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services department, providing high-quality, patient-centered care with a strong focus on hand therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation. As a key member of our collaborative and compassionate team in the Jackson area, you will deliver expert evaluation and treatment for patients recovering from hand and upper extremity injuries, post-surgical procedures, and a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. You will work closely with referring providers and fellow clinicians to develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans designed to restore function, reduce pain, and help patients safely return to the activities they value most.
In this role, you will perform comprehensive assessments, including detailed history taking, range-of-motion and strength testing, functional movement analysis, and outcome measure tracking to guide clinical decision-making. You will design and progress customized programs incorporating therapeutic exercise, manual therapy techniques, neuromuscular re-education, and activity modification, with particular attention to the complex needs of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will provide clear patient and family education on diagnoses, home exercise programs, joint protection, and strategies for successful recovery, emphasizing communication that is empathetic, respectful, and easy to understand.
Working at Hand & Physical Therapy of Wyoming means practicing in a culture that values collaboration, continuous learning, and the highest standards of professional integrity. You will have the opportunity to learn from and work alongside clinicians who specialize in hand therapy and rehabilitation, expanding your skills in splinting, post-operative protocols, and complex upper extremity cases. The environment is supportive and team-oriented, with a shared commitment to compassionate care, clinical excellence, and active engagement in the local community.
Daily responsibilities include managing an outpatient caseload, documenting thoroughly and efficiently in the electronic medical record, communicating regularly with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contributing to a positive clinic atmosphere where patients feel welcomed and supported. You will be encouraged to participate in ongoing professional development, case discussions, and quality improvement efforts that enhance both patient outcomes and your own clinical growth. This position is ideal for a Physical Therapist who enjoys one-on-one, hands-on care, values strong patient relationships, and is motivated to deepen expertise in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation while contributing meaningfully to a respected local practice.
