About

Hand & Physical Therapy of Wyoming is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist to join our specialized team serving the Jackson area. As a key member of our Healthcare & Medical Services department, you will provide expert, hands-on care with a strong emphasis on hand therapy, upper extremity rehabilitation, and orthopedic conditions. You will be responsible for performing comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized, evidence-based treatment plans, and delivering high-quality, one-on-one therapy that emphasizes functional recovery and long-term wellness.
In this role, you will treat a diverse outpatient caseload that may include post-surgical hand and upper extremity patients, orthopedic injuries, chronic and acute pain conditions, and general musculoskeletal dysfunction. You will utilize a combination of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and patient education to support optimal recovery. You will also collaborate closely with referring physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care, communicate progress, and adjust plans as needed.
You will be expected to document all evaluations, daily treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries accurately and efficiently within our electronic medical record system, maintaining compliance with professional, legal, and payer standards. As part of a collaborative and patient-focused culture, you will actively participate in case discussions, informal consults, and ongoing learning opportunities with colleagues, sharing knowledge and supporting a positive, team-oriented clinic environment.
Hand & Physical Therapy of Wyoming provides an opportunity to grow clinically in a setting that values expertise, compassion, and community impact. Clinicians here are encouraged to pursue advanced skills in hand therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation, including the development of splinting and bracing skills for the upper extremity, and to stay current with best practices through continuing education and professional development. You will have the chance to deepen your specialization while contributing to a supportive environment that prioritizes patient-centered care and individualized treatment.
The ideal candidate is a licensed Physical Therapist who is comfortable managing an outpatient caseload, demonstrates strong clinical reasoning, communicates clearly with patients and families, and is motivated by collaboration and continuous improvement. Experience or a strong interest in hand therapy is highly valued, and a commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to every patient is essential. This is an on-site clinical role that requires a consistent presence in the clinic to provide direct, hands-on treatment and build lasting relationships with patients and the local community.
