As a Quality Inspector, you will support the team responsible for the construction of wind turbine foundations through all stages of the project. You will work closely with the engineers, superintendent, coordinator and site teams to understand the technical, logistical and operational realities of a wind project.
This role is based on construction site on a full-time basis and therefore requires a high level of geographic mobility, as well as availability to work on a rotational schedule, based on project needs. To facilitate mobility, employees residing more than 120 km from the work site will be mobilized on site and may be eligible for certain benefits, in accordance with the company’s policies.

• Hold a college diploma or a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and/or any relevant experience;
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in similar functions on the construction of large civil projects;
• Proficiency in spoken and written French;
• Intermediate proficiency in spoken and written English to interact with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, partners, and colleagues at the national level. Is required to participate in coordination meetings and deliver progress updates to English-speaking stakeholders;
• Good knowledge of the Office Suite, especially Excel;
• High geographical mobility and a valid driver's license;
• Be able to adapt to a stressful environment and subject to weather fluctuations (construction site).
What you will do to complete this mission successfully:
• Active participation in the management of the project
• Participate in daily and weekly coordination meetings;
• Contribute to the development and updating of construction schedules;
• Prepare or assist in the preparation of budgets and cost follow-ups;
• Physically monitor the progress of the work (site log, daily reports);
• Support logistics planning (deliveries, concreting sequences, mobilization of teams).
• Support to site engineers and management team
• Participate in daily inspections and document deviations;
• Ensure compliance of safety documents: work permits, risk analyses, procedures, etc.;
• Update tracking tools: tracking documents, forms, photo reports, etc.;
• Collaborate in the preparation of requests for information (RFI) and the interpretation of plans and specifications.
• Construction Inspection and Quality Control
• Inspect the cleanliness tiles and validate tolerances;
• Inspect the anchor cages (anchor plate, positioning, bolts, verticality);
• Monitor the placement of reinforcement and compare with engineering plans;
• Inspect formwork and preparations prior to concreting;
• Monitor mass concrete pours: sequences, vibrations, temperature, curing and sample collection;
• Check concrete curing procedures (temperature, duration, thermal protection);
• Maintain inspection reports and lists of deficiencies.
• Production and performance monitoring
• Monitor quantities (steel, concrete, aggregates);
• Measure team productivity and identify areas for improvement;
• Document the performance of subcontractors.
• Coordination of subcontractors and Borea teams
• Electricians (earthing, conduits, collector network);
• Concrete and pumping (deliveries, mix control, testing);
• Civil work (excavation, backfilling, levelling).
• Communications techniques
• Follow up on technical communications between the site, engineers and subcontractors;
• Participate in the preparation of meeting minutes;
• Assist in updating red plans and quality files.
