About
Reporting to senior clinical leadership, the RN Manager oversees a team of nurses and clinical support staff, including RNs, LPNs, and medical assistants. This role is responsible for staffing, scheduling, and daily coordination of nursing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and culturally sensitive care delivery. The RN Manager actively mentors and supports staff, fostering a culture rooted in compassion, integrity, and community engagement that reflects Good Samaritan’s mission.
In this position, the RN Manager serves as an on-site clinical resource, guiding staff in assessment, triage, and care coordination, while promoting evidence-based practice and trauma-informed approaches. The RN Manager collaborates closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, behavioral health professionals, and other interdisciplinary team members to design and implement holistic care plans that address medical, social, and behavioral needs. Particular emphasis is placed on improving access to care, reducing health disparities, and supporting long-term wellness for individuals and families.
The RN Manager is accountable for maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, including documentation quality, infection prevention, and patient safety practices. The role leads and participates in quality improvement initiatives, using clinical data and patient feedback to identify opportunities for enhanced outcomes, improved workflows, and better patient experiences. Responsibilities also include performance management, staff evaluations, and individualized development plans that encourage professional growth and long-term engagement.
