Salary: £31,720 per annum

Welcome to Kentish Town Day Nursery & Preschool , a vibrant and nurturing environment where children aged 3 months to 5 years embark on a journey of growth, play, and discovery! Located on Ryland Road, just a short stroll from Kentish Town West, Kentish Town, and Chalk Farm Stations, our charming nursery is housed in a former school, featuring bright, airy rooms and a delightful garden for safe exploration and friendship-building.

Your Role

We are on the lookout for a passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our dedicated team. This full-time position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with shifts scheduled between 7:30 am and 6:30 pm. Please note that this is a year-round role, as our nursery operates continuously throughout the year.

Your Responsibilities

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

  • Ensure each child's individual needs are met, providing high-quality care and education in a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Observe, assess, and plan engaging early years activities that cater to each child's unique learning and development.
  • Collaborate as a professional team member, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and applied.
  • Follow risk assessments diligently and report any health and safety concerns to management.
  • Support the holistic development of children, focusing on their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth.

What You Need

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification: Essential
  • Fluency in written and spoken English: Essential
  • Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years: Desirable
  • Knowledge of the Statutory Framework for the EYFS: Desirable
