Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic Network Engineer to join our Network Engineering and Operations team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the broader infrastructure team, playing a vital role in maintaining Hyatt’s leading hospitality technology.
Role As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, operation, and continuous improvement of our Back‑of‑house networks in our Managed properties, contact centers, and corporate offices, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across our data center environments.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and support new and existing services for customers and business partners.
Improve performance and availability of existing networks and services.
Research, track, document, publish, maintain, and deliver on network policies and procedures.
Work with management to improve processes, procedures, and reduce inefficiencies.
Apply out‑of‑the‑box thinking; textbook solutions are not always the best answer.
Mentor, train, and assist team members.
Qualifications Experience Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
7+ years of experience with switches, firewalls (Cisco ASA/FTD/Fortinet) and security concepts.
Experience with Cisco Meraki or similar cloud‑managed networking platforms.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
Scripting experience (Python, Bash, or similar) is a plus.
Experience Preferred:
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
Experience in hybrid cloud networking environments.

Salary range: $90,900 - $118,000, depending on experience, skill level, and location. Pay will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
