We are recruiting a Network Engineers to join the Technical team at Hyve Managed Hosting. As a Network Engineer specializing in Juniper, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our network environment.

*Responsibilities:*
· Design, configure, and maintain Juniper network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls.
· Implement and optimize network protocols and technologies such as OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and VLANs.
· Troubleshoot network issues and perform root cause analysis, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
· Ensure network security best practices are implemented and maintained.
· Monitor network performance and capacity, proactively identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks or vulnerabilities.
· Assist the Sales team with architectural designs of potential new client platforms
· Stay updated on emerging networking technologies and best practices, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
*What you’ll bring:*
· Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on Juniper technologies.
· In-depth knowledge of Juniper routing and switching platforms (e.g., Juniper MX, EX, QFX series).
· Hands-on experience with Junos OS and Juniper network management tools.
· Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
· Experience with network security principles and technologies (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems).
· Excellent troubleshooting skills with a systematic approach to problem-solving.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
*It would be great if you had:*
· Knowledge of: VMware vSphere, VMware ESXi and VMware NSX.
· Juniper certifications (e.g., JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP).
· Amazing customer service skills and ability to resolve questions efficiently, effectively and politely.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Social and outgoing and easily able to build relationships
· Perfect written and spoken English

Pay: £28,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
