About

Our client is a global leader in the hospitality industry, operating a portfolio of over 1,000 subsidiaries and affiliated brands across the world. Recognized for their commitment to exceptional guest experiences and continuous innovation, this organization is investing heavily in a large-scale Digital Transformation program- modernizing their data platform architecture and enterprise systems to power the next generation of hospitality.
We are seeking a driven, highly organized Senior Project Manager with hands-on experience managing Snowflake, AI, and AWS projects to join our client's Data Platform Architecture team. This individual will embed within a fast-moving agile environment and play a critical role in keeping multiple workstreams on track across technical and business teams.
This is not a back-seat PM role. You will own standups, sprint planning, resource coordination, and reporting- working side-by-side with data engineers, data scientists, business intelligence teams, and other PMs to ensure alignment and delivery across a complex portfolio of initiatives. The team operates in 2-week sprints and is actively running Snowflake migrations on AWS, AI/ML initiatives, and other major data platform efforts. Candidates who have directly managed projects in these technology areas will be strongly preferred.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Create, manage, and execute project plans across multiple concurrent workstreams including Snowflake migrations, AWS infrastructure, and AI/ML initiatives in support of a broader Digital Transformation program
* Own agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming in partnership with technical leads
* Coordinate resources across multiple teams; manage and communicate priorities when initiatives compete for capacity
* Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior stakeholders and program leadership
* Track sprint progress (2-week cycles, story-point based); identify scope creep and enforce change control processes
* Develop and maintain monthly and quarterly KPI reporting mechanisms, keeping leadership informed of project health and trends
* Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and blockers across functions and interdependent workstreams; drive resolution
* Manage relationships and communication between internal teams (data engineering, data science, BI) and external vendors including IBM and Snowflake
* Partner with other PMs across the organization to coordinate shared resources and enterprise-level efforts, including ERP/Opera Cloud implementation touchpoints
* Compile and present clear status updates and program-level reporting for stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization
* Maintain comprehensive project documentation using Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet
*Required Qualifications*
* 5+ years of project management experience, including managing multiple parallel projects in an Agile/Scrum environment
* *Demonstrated experience managing Snowflake, AWS, and/or AI/ML projects — this is a critical requirement*
* Strong working knowledge of cloud data platform ecosystems; able to speak the language of data engineers and hold technical conversations at a project level
* Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and the Atlassian suite- must be comfortable as a day-to-day power user
* Experience with Smartsheet for project tracking and reporting
* Functional understanding of data platform technologies such as Tableau, Cognos, and/or ThoughtSpot
* Proven ability to manage conflicting priorities and resource allocation across multiple teams simultaneously
* Strong communication skills- ability to ask hard questions, push back on scope, and hold stakeholders accountable
* Self-starter mentality; able to get up to speed quickly and begin contributing from day one
* Experience with KPI development, sprint metrics, and recurring status reporting
*Preferred Qualifications*
* Background working directly embedded on data engineering or data architecture teams
* Experience managing AI/ML model deployment or data science pipeline projects
* Familiarity with ServiceNow
* Experience in hospitality or similarly complex, multi-brand enterprise environments
* Exposure to enterprise system implementations (e.g., Opera Cloud or similar ERP/PMS platforms)
