About

Good Samaritan is seeking a compassionate LPN FT Day to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team, providing comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care to underserved communities. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will deliver direct bedside care, administer medications, perform treatments and procedures within LPN scope, and monitor patient status throughout the day shift. Working closely with RNs, providers, and support staff, you will help coordinate care plans, gather health histories, perform focused assessments, document accurately in the electronic health record, and communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team. You will provide health education and coaching on chronic disease management, preventive care, and wellness, always with sensitivity to cultural, social, and economic factors affecting our patients. In this role, you will support clinics and programs tailored to the needs of underserved populations, assist with triage, manage phone and in-person patient inquiries under supervision, and help maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment. You will follow infection control standards, safety protocols, and Good Samaritan policies, ensuring compliance with state nursing regulations and best practices. This position offers a collaborative, mission-driven environment where compassion, integrity, and community engagement guide daily work. You will participate in team huddles, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education to strengthen your clinical skills and contribute to better health outcomes. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient healthcare setting, demonstrating strong critical thinking, time management, and communication skills. As an LPN FT Day, you will have consistent daytime hours, opportunities for professional development, and the chance to make a measurable impact on the wellness of individuals and families who might otherwise lack access to essential health services.
