This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior mechanical engineer to work wih some of the best engineers on the biggest projects in the defence/nuclear sector Job Title - Senior Mechanical EngineerLocation - Bristol 2/3 days a weekContract Length - 12 MonthsPay Rates - Up to £60.00 an hour (Inside IR35) Key responsibilities: Provide technical support to the team for you specialist area and ensure you are working to deadlines effectivelyMake engineering decisions from a project and technical stand pointAct as the technical authority or lead mechanical engineer when required to do so.Ensure all change are assessed and managed accordingly to project scopeEnsure the procedures and engineering codes are consistently met and managed throughout the project lifecycle.Produce and review all technical documents and approve calculations, analysis, drawings and models for design documents and technical reports. Expected qualifications: An engineering degree in a relevant fieldExperience in working in heavily regulated sites with multiple discipline teamsDemonstrated experiences in covering a wide range of tasks across a range of complexitiesExperience in managing an engineering scopeChartered status preferred (DESIRED)
