About the Role
You’ll be a key contributor to a *fast-moving team*, building a production-grade, *AI-native platform*. Your mission will involve designing and orchestrating AI systems, constructing robust agentic pipelines, and seamlessly integrating *LLMs* with our backend infrastructure.
Tech Stack
* *Core Backend: Python 3, FastAPI, Celery, PostgreSQL, Redis*
* Messaging & Cache: RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, Messaging, Cache, Distributed Task Queues
* Cloud & Infrastructure: Azure, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Key Vault, Docker, Kubernetes
* Observability & AI Tooling: Datadog, AI Tooling Integration
What You’ll Do
* Design and architect scalable, highly concurrent backend systems and resilient *API services*.
* Develop and optimize *distributed task queues* with *Celery*, managing background workers and scaling strategies.
* Integrate and orchestrate *AI systems* and *LLMs* into the core platform, building robust agentic pipelines.
* Implement production *REST services* using *FastAPI*, emphasizing async/await and type annotations.
* Ensure high performance and reliability, utilizing *PostgreSQL* and optimizing data interactions.
* Deploy and manage containerized applications in *Azure* using *Docker*, optimizing resource utilization.
Requirements
* Minimum 5+ years of experience in backend development.
* Proven ability to design and architect scalable, highly concurrent systems.
* Deep expertise in *Python* fundamentals, including async/await, type annotations, and *Pydantic*.
* Hands-on experience with *FastAPI* for building production-grade *REST services*.
* Extensive experience with *Celery*, including the design and operation of *distributed task queues*.
* Solid working knowledge of *PostgreSQL* and *SQL*.
* Comfortable deploying applications on *Azure* and working with *Docker*.
