About therole Hedsor House is a luxurywedding and eventsvenue based in a100 acreestate near Taplow in Buckinghamshire.Fromwelcomingregal guests in centuries past, to Hollywood film stars in more recent years, the privately run Georgian mansion has enjoyed an illustrious history.The venue has grown fast in the last five years and has ambitious plans for the next five. We are now looking for a Wedding Sales Manager to join our extraordinary team of professionalsto drive that growth.
TheWedding Sales Manageris responsible formanaging a small, but highly experienced team ofsales specialists to collectively deliverthe wedding and eventannualsales revenuebudget. Thisrolerequires a keencommercialeye, someone who can not only look at weekly sales progress, but look further out toidentifyshifts in demand, booking patternsandpipeline health.They need to be able to motivate and inspire the team to reach ambitiousrevenue goals, alongside delivering industry-leading customer experience.
Person Specification As one of the countrys leading wedding and event venues we have incrediblyhigh standardsof customer service. We're looking for someone who has a passion for what they do, and puts the customer at the heart of everything.
Qualifications Education insales,hospitality, travel and tourism and/or event management-highly desirable Educated to degree level or equivalent - desirable Maths and English GCSE
essential Salesand customer servicetraining - desirable
Experience and knowledge Previousexperience in a sales role with proven examples of having closed deals. This isakeyobjectiveof the roleand only candidates who candemonstrateat leastfiveyears experienceof this this will be considered. Experience of managing a team An understanding of the wedding industry is desirable. Alternatively, experience in event sales or other luxury services or products will be considered.
Skills and abilities The ability to lead and coach a high performing team, giving them the autonomy to work independently, but having theconfidence to hold them accountable Proven ability todeliver and exceed revenue targets, with a strong grasp of forecasting, conversion rates, and pipeline management. Commercially astute, able tobalance volume, margin, andlong-termbrand valuerather than pursuingshort-termwins at any cost. Confident analysing sales performance data and translating insight intoclear actions and priorities. Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and a disciplined approach to processes, CRM usage, andfollow-up. A warm and friendly manner which quickly builds rapport with both internal and external stakeholders A persuasive, and confident communicator whether face-to-face, through emails, or over the phone. An excellent standard of spelling and grammar is essential An ability to remain calm under pressureand manage difficult conversations successfully Highly proficient in IT, with a good knowledge of Microsoft packages particularly Word,Outlookand Excel, along with CRM systems. Training will be given in the platform used by Hedsor.
Other High levelof personal presentation;this rolerepresentsthe brand at all times Holds UK Driving Licence. As the Estate is not easily accessible via public transport, use of a car is essential
