Role Overview:
Operations activities including portfolio management, filing to documentum, generating & monitoring of MI, servicing activities, e.g. pro rata, accruals, adjustments as well as finance activities including matching, quarter end process, reporting activities etc. Play an integral role in supporting Underwriting Services & Finance to deliver operational excellence and customer satisfaction in all activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Zurich Team, with the continued development and improvement of UW operations and finance tasks
- Manage own cedant portfolio
- Complete accurate and timely day to day accounting functions e.g. processing of payments
- Perform Data Quality checks on work performed offshore
- Respond to queries raised by offshore team
- Perform testing fixes/upgrades of CODA when necessary
- Support Underwriting team with cedant financial data
- Support Regional Service Manager with Credit Control queries
- Support offshore/onshore with quality control queries
- Compliance with best practice, regulatory/legal requirements and Aspen's processes and policies
- Demonstrate a good understanding of Program concepts; stay informed of professional standards and firm policies
- Establish technical knowledge to support the Regional Service Manager/Underwriters with identifying issues and opportunities
- Establish and develop relationships with stakeholders including offshore team, underwriting teams and colleagues to achieve business objectives
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including internal (e.g. Tax, Group Finance, Internal Audit, Group Investment/Treasury, Group Systems) and external auditors and bankers, to ensure service delivery meets customer expectations
- Develops own knowledge of standard procedures and processes
- Act as a point of reference to guide and advise others to ensure the sharing of knowledge and best practice
- Supports others in the team where appropriate to assist in the achievement of their objectives
Knowledge, Skills, & Experience:
- 3 to 5 years' experience, preferably in the Insurance Industry
- Basic knowledge of core (re) insurance principles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Englisch and intermediate German
- Proficient in Microsoft office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
- Effective time management skills with the ability to manage priorities to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good analytical skills with a high level of numeracy and literacy
- Willingness to learn new things
