About
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various therapeutic practices, especially sports medicine, orthopedics and/ or manual therapy and demonstrate a commitment to improving patient outcomes. The role involves assessing patient needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing hands-on therapy to help patients regain mobility and function.
*Duties*
* Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical abilities and limitations.
* Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
* Utilize various therapeutic techniques including acute care, outpatient services, geriatrics, pediatrics, and home health.
* Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment options and rehabilitation processes.
* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care, including discharge planning.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and medical terminology.
* Apply specialized techniques such as trigger point therapy when appropriate.
*Requirements*
* Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
* Experience in acute care settings or familiarity with outpatient therapy is preferred.
* Background in geriatrics or pediatrics is advantageous.
* Proficiency in discharge planning processes.
* Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with patients and staff.
* Familiarity with medical terminology related to physical therapy practices.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices.
