*About the Role*
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager with a passion for engineering and product development to join our Beran and Helitune business in Devon. As a Project Manager, you’ll take the lead on key product development activities, driving innovation and delivering world-class solutions for our Beran and Helitune products, ensuring their success in the industrial and aerospace markets.
Your key responsibilities will include:
*Project Leadership & Delivery*
* Lead key projects from inception through to delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
* Take ownership of project outcomes, proactively managing risks and resolving issues.
*Resource & Budget Management*
* Develop and review resource forecasts, ensuring appropriate allocation across projects.
* Manage project costs, ensuring activities are completed within budget and timelines.
*Cross-Functional Collaboration*
* Coordinate with a multi-disciplinary engineering team to drive product development and ensure smooth project execution.
* Facilitate communication across internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
*Product Development Lifecycle*
* Hands-on contribution to all phases of the engineering lifecycle including requirements capture, design, implementation, verification, and qualification.
* Author necessary documentation to support the product development process.
*Process Improvement & Innovation*
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
* Actively contribute to bids and proposals, helping secure new business opportunities.
*Stakeholder Management & Compliance*
* Ensure compliance with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and work with stakeholders to ensure products meet all regulatory and quality standards.
*Team & Business Support*
* Work alongside the Engineering Management Team to meet business-wide goals and drive continuous improvement.
*About you*
We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Project Manager with exceptional communication skills. You can adapt your communication style to connect effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders and team members. Change doesn’t faze—instead, you embrace it, staying agile and able to shift priorities with ease as the needs of the business evolve.
As a proactive problem solver, you are always thinking ahead, identifying potential challenges before they arise and implementing solutions to keep projects on track. You excel in fast-paced environments, efficiently managing multiple projects at once while maintaining high standards and delivering on time.
Your customer-focused and commercial, with a keen understanding of how to meet customer needs. Your collaborative approach drives teamwork ensuring smooth coordination and project success.
A background in Aerospace, Industrial or a related field, combined with practical project management experience, is essential. Ideally, you are also qualified in project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) or have equivalent experience.
