About

Nolinor is currently looking for a technical representative to join its team.

The technical representative (Tech Rep) is responsible for the management and planning of engine overhauls for Nolinor’s aircraft fleet. Acting as a field expert and primary point of contact between the company and maintenance centers and other stakeholders, the incumbent operates with a high degree of autonomy and rigor. They oversee the full engine lifecycle, from technical records review to parts receipt and work follow-up.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Overhaul Planning and Management

  • Responsible for the complete planning of engine overhauls, primarily JT8D engines;
  • Define and document the work scope for each engine based on its condition and history;
  • Develop and implement engine planning strategies for in-service engines;
  • Monitor work progress and coordinate priorities with maintenance centers.

Technical Documentation and Records

  • Review, analyze, and interpret technical records (logbooks, ADs, SBs, STCs, CMM, AMM);
  • Identify non-conformities and required work based on airworthiness documentation;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for each engine under overhaul.

Parts Procurement

  • Source, evaluate, and procure parts required for overhaul work;
  • Work with approved vendors (PMA, OEM, DER) and validate component traceability;
  • Optimize purchasing costs while ensuring compliance with quality and airworthiness standards.

Coordination with Maintenance Centers

  • Act as the lead representative and main point of contact with MRO facilities and workshops;
  • Ensure work is carried out in accordance with approved manuals and regulatory requirements;
  • Conduct on-site visits to oversee work and validate overhaul quality.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
Education and Certifications

  • Technical diploma or training in aircraft maintenance or a related field;
  • Strong knowledge of aviation regulations (FAA, EASA, Transport Canada);
  • Aircraft Maintenance Technician license (AME / A&P), a strong asset;
  • Knowledge of JT8D engines and their variants, a significant asset.

Experience and Technical Knowledge

  • Significant experience in turbine aircraft engine maintenance;
  • Familiarity with technical documentation: CMM, AMM, SB, AD, logbooks;
  • Experience in maintenance planning or work scope management;
  • Knowledge of certified aviation parts procurement processes.

PROFILE AND COMPETENCIES

  • Independent and self-driven (able to work effectively with minimal supervision);
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Detail-oriented, methodical, and solution-focused;
  • Strong sense of responsibility with the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously;
  • Proficient in French and English (spoken and written to communicate with our various bases ), Spanish is an asset;
  • Required to travel based on operational needs.
