*Job Overview*
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate RN (Registered Nurse) and LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) professionals to join our healthcare team. *Duties*
* Deliver comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
* Administer medications and injections accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
* Manage IV infusions, catheter care, tube feeding, and ventilator support for patients requiring advanced medical interventions.
* Perform diagnostic evaluations such as specimen collection, laboratory processing, and medical imaging coordination to support clinical decision-making.
* Provide specialized care for patients with complex conditions including Alzheimer's disease, dementia, infectious diseases, or post-acute recovery needs.
* Assist with procedures like suturing, spinal taps, cardiac catheterization, and sterile techniques in accordance with aseptic protocols.
* Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems such as Cerner or Athenahealth for accurate documentation of patient care activities.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and health coaching to optimize patient outcomes across inpatient and outpatient settings.
*Qualifications*
* Valid RN or LPN license in accordance with state regulations; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) are required.
* Demonstrated experience in critical care environments including ICU, emergency room, or trauma centers; Level I or Level II trauma center experience is highly desirable.
* Proven expertise working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, neonatal ventilator management, or individuals with developmental disabilities.
* Strong knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding standards for accurate medical documentation and billing processes.
* Experience in specialized areas such as hospice care, pain management, behavioral health, or post-acute care is preferred.
* Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks; proficiency in medical terminology and physiology knowledge is essential.
* Ability to perform complex procedures including venipuncture, phlebotomy, catheterization, and oxygen therapy while maintaining sterile technique.
* Excellent communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient-centered care; ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams across various healthcare settings.
