Reporting to the DCM Group Planning Supervisor, the incumbent plans production and ensures it meets the company’s Just-In-Time (JIT) standards.

• Monitor workload by department;
• Convert suggested jobs into active jobs;
• Track shortages of raw materials and hardware required for part manufacturing;
• Work closely with the Methods and Purchasing departments and respond to Customer Service inquiries;
• Assist team leaders in identifying delayed parts;
• Identify, plan, and report production stoppages or bottlenecks in order to resolve or mitigate them;
• Collaborate in the search for solutions to resolve various production issues;
• Propose delivery date adjustments in the system to the Director of the Center of Excellence;
• Take action on the root causes of delays (e.g., follow-ups with Methods, Purchasing, CSR) for identified issues;
• Ensure the production schedule aligns with the physical workflow. If discrepancies arise, analyze and communicate findings to team leaders;
• Comply with quality standards.

• College diploma (DEC) in logistics, operations management, administration, or any other relevant field.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in planning and/or the aerospace industry (an asset);
• Excellent command of French (spoken and written) and functional proficiency in English (reading and writing), required to read and understand English documentation from suppliers located outside Quebec;
• Knowledge of an ERP system;
• Proficiency in office software: Word and intermediate-level Excel.
