American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least one year of experience for an adult rehab services position requiring an Oklahoma OT license and BLS certification.

• Position is in an adult rehabilitation services department
• Work schedule is five 8-hour day shifts per week, totaling 40 hours
• Patient care involves individuals needing occupational therapy evaluations and interventions under physician direction
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered
• Plan, evaluate, and implement individual and group occupational therapy activities based on physician referral
• Assess patients in areas such as independent living, occupational performance, and psychosocial skills
• Develop and communicate patient-focused goals and provide progress updates to patients and families
• Assist with discharge planning and home therapy instruction
• May supervise occupational therapy students
• Candidates may only extend once for a total of 26 weeks; a 6-month separation is required before reapplication

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required
• Current Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
• Minimum of one year of relevant occupational therapy experience required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Ability to interpret prescriptions, develop treatment plans, and instruct patients
• Good organizational, interpersonal, and computer skills required
