Internship Group Indirect Purchasing, Indirect Global BuyerKey responsibilities and activities:Responsible for specific initiatives within the indirect group purchasing scope which consists of globalizing & optimizing the supplier panel & products across all production & legal entitiesSupport the Purchasing Organization to meet goals and objectives to the overall BOBST strategyAct as a focal point and partner with key stakeholdersSupport the implementation of the Group Purchasing Policy including the P2 P processContribute to achieve the targets in terms of costs savings delivery, costs avoidance, compliance, sustainability.Provide support to the GCL's and lead some specific sourcing initiatives and implement the defined strategy across the group: - Collect the spend with all entities, analyze the data, assess the situation & identify opportunities of synergies/savings/optimization.- Conduct RFP & negotiations with suppliers. - Provide support to build business case & recommendation for supplier awarding.- Ensure deployment of the assigned initiatives.Support the GCL's to put in place the global intranet to enhance indirect purchasing best practicesThe role interacts with multiple functions in the company:Global Category Manager of Indirect PurchasingSourcing ManagementGCLs Sourcing analysts BPOs Site Heads of SPL Finance / Controlling (LSPL / Site / Group)Production Management stakeholders (all entities)Required skills and competencies:Global mindsetEntrepreneurial approach and readiness to take initiativeStrong and confident communication skillsAbility to work in virtual teamsChange management abilityExperience in sourcing processesFinancial and business acumenExperience in costing and negotiationsBachelor/Masters degree in EconomicsPeferred ongoing Masters Studies in Purchasing/ProcurementSourcing experience with a working knowledge of indirect purchasingNegotiationFor more than 130 years, and over 50 countries, BOBST has always been at the forefront of innovation and we want to accelerate connectivity, digitalization, automation and sustainability to make packaging better than ever.BOBST is one of the world's leading suppliers of equipment and services to packaging and label manufacturers in the folding carton, corrugated board and flexible materials industries.
