The Team Lead Local & Factory IT Switzerland is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and delivering all local Swiss-specific IT services, with a specific focus on Infrastructure and Applications, primarily within the Factory in Baden. This role combines two main areas of responsibility: Infrastructure Management and Application Support and Development. The Team Lead Local & Factory IT Switzerland ensures the stable operation of IT infrastructure, including network, server infrastructure, data communications and end-user experience on the shop floor. Additionally, the role is responsible formaintainingstable operations and continuous development of factory applications. Key Responsibilities: Overall responsibilities: Lead and manage the Swiss Local & Factory IT teamManage operational costs and conduct financial forecasts for expanded functionality/user baseSupport feasibility studies for upgrade projects, improvements, and conversionsMonitor all relevant IT service (Infra & App) performance, implementing strategies to keep infrastructure and applications up to dateEnsure compliance with hardware, softwareand cyber security standards in coordination with owners and stakeholdersEngage in regular communications with executives, decision-makers, stakeholders, department heads, and end-users regarding infrastructure and application activitiesOwn the Major Incident Management Process for the local scopeManage deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, PCs (non-standard workplace), operating systems, hardware, software and peripheralsProvide end-user services for the shopfloor, including help desk support and technical assistancein operations critical casesSupport local requirements of the factory and service centersEnsure optimal operation of factory systems, working closely with Application Owners, Application Managers, Cyber Securityand Infrastructure SpecialistsEnsure required services are provided by external service providersProvide input to factory applicationand local infrastructure roadmaps as part of the annual budget and IT/IS strategy cycle (3-year cycle) Infrastructure Management: Oversee LANs, WANs, Internet, intranet, security, and wireless implementations for the local scopeLead IT asset management, including component inventory maintenance and documentationOversee the operation and further development of local data centers (DC1 & DC2)Manage local server hosting in partnership with external service providersEnsure the operation of the local network and implementation of security requirementsOversee the operation and development of the High-Performance Cluster "HPC Cluster"Application Support and Development: Ensure the stable operation and continuous development of factory applicationsCollaborate with other application teams, including Catia/3 DX support and othersContribute to the development of local factory/service center in system and investment projectsYour Background:Formal Education & Certification: University degree or college diploma in computer science or equivalent work experienceProficiency in English is essentialKnowledge & Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience managing and delivering infrastructure design and operational excellenceExceptional knowledge of service and application delivery, with a track record of successful service level agreement accomplishmentsHands-on experience in troubleshooting hardwareStrong knowledge of current protocols and standards, including ITIL Process landscapeApplication support experience is a plusExperience in interpreting the applicability of local and federal laws, regulations and standards to company operationsPersonal Attributes: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesDemonstrated leadership and personnel/project management skillsExcellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skillsAbility to conduct research into issues and products as requiredProven ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentStrong customer service orientationHighly self-motivatedAbility to present ideas in a user-friendly language. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentYour benefits:CanteenChildcareModern office, smart workingFlexible working modelAttractive holiday planRemote work policyEmployee assistance program This Team Lead Local & Factory IT Switzerland position plays a crucial role in ensuring the stability and efficiency of IT infrastructure and applications within the Swiss Factory operations.
