Reporting to the General Manager, the Sales Manager will lead our new and used vehicle sales operations, execute Sales Department strategies, and drive performance in a fast‑paced, competitive dealership environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in competition, enjoys coaching high‑performing teams, and knows how to turn strategy into sales through exceptional leadership, customer service, and selling skills.
*What You’ll Do: *
* Lead, coach, and motivate a high‑performing new and used vehicle sales team
* Drive and exceed daily, weekly, monthly, and annual sales and gross profit targets
* Recruit, train, and develop sales staff through ongoing coaching and regular training meetings
* Manage inventory, pricing, merchandising, and trade appraisals to maximize profitability
* Track KPIs and use real‑time sales data to analyze performance and adjust strategies
* Partner with F&I and senior leadership to structure deals and grow revenue
* Ensure an exceptional, ethical, and customer‑focused buying experience
* Oversee CRM (VinSolutions) usage, lead management, follow‑up, and customer retention
* Forecast sales performance and manage staffing to support showroom operations
* Handle customer concerns professionally and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
* Perform other duties as assigned
*What We’re Looking For:*
* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
* Minimum 2 years of automotive sales management experience (new, used, or both)
* Strong leadership skills in a process‑driven, high‑volume dealership
* Experience using CRM systems (VinSolutions preferred)
* Ability to coach and lead teams through the full sales process
* Strong understanding of sales performance metrics, inventory, pricing, and trade appraisals
* Professional, driven, customer‑focused, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

* Automotive Sales Management: 2 years (Preferred)
