Job Title: Telecoms Engineer Role Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Telecoms Engineer to support ongoing works across TFL Underground stations in Zones 1, 2 & 3. Working as part of a team of 4-5 operatives and reporting to the Site Person in Charge (SPC), the successful candidate will carry out installation, termination, and testing of CAT6A cabling, antennas, racks, and associated telecoms equipment. A minimum of 2 years' experience in rail or large infrastructure projects in a similar role is essential. Key Responsibilities: Installation, termination, and testing of CAT6A cabling Installation, termination, and testing of antennas, racks, and related telecoms equipment Work under supervision of the SPC to complete tasks to required standards Maintain accuracy and quality of installations within the set timeframes Collaborate effectively with other team members during night works Shifts & Hours: Nights: 23:45 - 04:45 Days: Sunday to Thursday Start Date: ASAP Weekend Work: Available at increased rates Duration: Ongoing (through to end of 2026; continued work based on performance) Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements: JIB Card or ECS Skill Card Sentinel ICI (Industry Common Induction) DBS Check Asbestos Awareness Certification Face Fit Certification (or must be willing to undertake test) Preferred Qualifications: PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers' and Manufacturers' Association) QUAF (Qualified Installer Scheme - Fibre/Copper, if applicable) L&E (Lift & Escalator Awareness, where relevant) Location: TFL Underground works across Zones 1, 2 & 3. Previous experience on rail or Underground projects is highly desirable.
