What’s in it for you:
Trane Technologies is hiring a Procurement Analyst within Direct Procurement. This position will support tactical and strategic activities across multiple categories, driving cross-functional collaboration, focus of key team deliverables, and building standardization of processes around contract management, margin enhancement, and risk mitigation. What you will do:

Support improvement process meetings for multiple teams within Category Excellence and direct procurement categories through development of data and review of team actions •
Manage and support full lifecycle of tariff activities •
Support category teams pricing updates, MIR analytics, taxonomy cleanup •
Work with Category Managers to define negotiation strategy including supplier profiles, commercial negotiation targets, defining switching costs, and building (TCO) Total Cost of Ownership •
Support the execution of sourcing projects including RFx, continuous improvement, consolidation, etc. • Utilize tools & analytics to identify category opportunities around risk mitigation, pricing, source change, and VA/VE to be incorporated into category strategies. • Drive utilization of standard work including project tracking, documentation, and reporting. Actively engage with team members to eliminate roadblocks and escalate issues appropriately.
What you will bring:
•
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field •
Project Management experience preferred. •
3 to 5 years experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations •
Demonstrated experience leading large, complex cross-functional projects within matrixed organizations •
Demonstrated experience coordinating, and facilitating discussions, consultation, and conflict resolution skills with the ability to drive program-specific issues and goals to closure. •
Experience in supplier development, materials management, and/or plant operations a plus. •
Must be a strategic thinker and have demonstrated experience driving initiatives •
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong influencing and negotiating skills across the organization. Possess strong interpersonal skills. Ability to lead, develop, and motivate staff; foster team dynamic. •
Ability to travel up to 10%

Supply Chain Acumen
– Oversees development and execution of GSC strategies/playbooks for assigned components or services, drives utilization of common GSC tools to achieve optimal results that are Quality, Delivery, Price, and Service balanced and corporate/governmental compliant. •
Project Management
– Reviews and approves teams’ project plans, oversees project execution, balances projects between short and long-term focus, and secures alignment with cross-functional partners.
Manage prioritization of team resources. •
Global Business Thinking/Strategizing
– Demonstrates deep global knowledge of suppliers, industry trends, emerging markets, and technology, builds this knowledge into GSC strategies/playbooks, and develops teams’ capabilities & talent. •
Problem-Solving
– Identifies/anticipates potential problems, supports root cause analysis, evaluates the robustness of corrective action plan, and oversees plan implementation. •
Relationship Management
– Creates a collaborative environment with cross-functional partners, assures regular/appropriate two-way communication flow, and builds/maintains relationships with industry peers and suppliers.
