Education Management Solutions (EMS) is seeking a collaborative and client‑focused Solutions Architect to support our Sales and Engineering teams in delivering impactful, customized solutions. This is an opportunity to play a critical role in shaping how our technology is designed, positioned, and delivered to clients. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Engineering, and customers to ensure solutions are technically sound, aligned to business needs, and set up for long‑term success.
What You’ll Do
Design solutions:
Lead technical discovery and translate customer requirements into scalable EMS solutions
Support sales efforts:
Partner with Sales to position EMS products and services through technical expertise and solution alignment
Engage clients:
Build strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and guide solution development
Own the technical narrative:
Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations, demos, and proposals
Drive clarity:
Review customer specifications, drawings, and requirements to create detailed Statements of Work
Collaborate cross-functionally:
Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Client Support teams to ensure solution feasibility and success
Respond to RFPs:
Lead responses to functional and technical requirements in RFPs/RFIs
Support deal execution:
Assist with proposal development, pricing strategy, and contract alignment
Key Responsibilities
Develop technical proposals and bid responses aligned with customer needs
Ensure all proposed solutions meet customer and company requirements
Provide input on solution pricing to support margin and growth goals
Support customer discussions, presentations, and technical validations
Create and maintain documentation for solution design, scope, and implementation
Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth transition from sale to delivery
Assist with vendor coordination and product/service sourcing as needed
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
Experience in solutions engineering, systems design, or technical pre‑sales
Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, client‑friendly language
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills
Experience working with RFPs, technical documentation, and customer requirements
Proficiency with MS Office and general business tools
Willingness and ability to travel 20–40%
