Finance Process Expert (m/f/d)
What you’ll do:
- Operational Finance & Process Management: Join our Operational Finance team to develop and optimise our NPL platform, IFA-Leitstand, and support the design, implementation, and execution of standardised processes while ensuring compliance with accounting guidelines.
- Month-End, Year-End & Reconciliations: Support month-end and year-end closings, prepare and perform purchase price settlements and reconciliations, and ensure accuracy and completeness of various control checks. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with product owners of the IFA Leitstand and accounting stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical specifications for the IT team and verifying their implementation.
- Testing & Process Rollout: Coordinate cross-system testing, support the processing team during the rollout of new processes, and contribute to internal and external audits.
- Financial Operations Optimization: Actively contribute to the optimisation of financial operations processes and workflows, with a particular focus on the debt purchase business.
- Data Management & Accuracy: Process and review large volumes of data with a high level of accuracy and ensure settlements comply with the IFA methodology and IFRS reporting requirements.
- Client Account Management: Take responsibility for client (account) management and ensure all operational tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- A degree in Business Administration, Finance/Accounting, Business Informatics, or a comparable commercial/financial qualification. Alternatively, a finance-focused IT background with relevant professional experience can also be suitable.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field, ideally with a focus on process management, operational finance, or controlling.
- Strong understanding of processes, IT systems, and accounting principles.
- Self-motivated, creative, and solution-oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to mediate between departments.
- Confident and assertive in driving initiatives forward.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
