Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:
Design and develop electrical control systems for bespoke automation, special purpose machinery, and materials handling equipment Design electrical systems and control panels in line with relevant UK, European, and international standards, as well as customer-specific requirements Ensure electrical designs consider reliability, ease of assembly, serviceability, and long-term maintenance Support fault finding and root cause analysis during design, build, commissioning, and post-installation support phases Create detailed electrical schematics and manufacturing documentation using EPLAN Electric P8 and SolidWorks Electrical Apply working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic control systems within electrical designs Produce technical documentation to support machine build, installation & commiss...
