Position: Teacher

Contract: Part-time, 15 hours per week (2 days), term time only

Salary: £28,000 - £39,590 pro rata

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Battle

Hours: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

At ISP School, nestled in the beautiful Glengorse Estate in Battle, East Sussex, we provide specialized education for children aged 7-18 with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH), as well as communication and learning needs. Our mission is to create a safe and supportive environment that inspires learning and encourages every child to reach their full potential.

We are on the lookout for an inspirational qualified teacher who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children. If you have experience teaching across Key Stages 3 & 4 and are knowledgeable about the National Curriculum, especially in areas like Functional Skills and Media (including ESports), we want to hear from you!

• Teach at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Plan, prepare, and present engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of your students.
• Utilize our positive behaviour policy to foster responsibility and accountability among students.
• Inspire a love of learning and motivate students to thrive in their educational journey.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Successful teaching experience, particularly with SEN and a focus on nurturing children with SEMH and ASC needs.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, especially in Maths or English.
• Excellent behaviour management skills.
• A reflective practitioner who understands therapeutic approaches to education.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
• Proven track record of delivering dynamic and engaging lessons.
