CDL A Delivery Driver, Night shift

Performance Foodservice, a leading national food distributor serving customers from independent restaurants to major chains, is seeking a dependable CDL A Delivery Driver for our night shift in {JOB-CITY}, {JOB-STATE}. As part of our Transportation & Logistics team in the Food & Beverage Operations industry, you will safely operate a CDL A tractor-trailer to deliver food and food-related products to customer locations on scheduled overnight routes. You will load and unload products using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and lift gates, verify orders against invoices, obtain required signatures, and ensure products are delivered accurately and in good condition. This role requires strict adherence to all DOT regulations, company safety standards, and food safety and handling procedures, while providing exceptional customer service at each stop. You will complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation, and communicate any delivery or equipment issues to dispatch or supervision in a timely manner. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working independently on night routes while still representing Performance Foodservice’s team-oriented, customer-first culture. You should be able to repeatedly lift, pull, and push product cases, navigate tight docks or alleys, and work in varying weather conditions.
