*Job Summary*
VN Engineers is looking to expand our Structural Group Leadership with a Senior Structural Engineering Position. Come join a growing team, activity working on some of the most impactful, exciting, and challenging infrastructure projects along the East Coast. We are seeking an experienced *Senior Structural Engineer* to join our team and lead design, development, and execution of complex engineering projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Lead engineering design and technical development for projects
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
* Review engineering plans, calculations, and specifications
* Coordinate with cross-discipline teams including project managers, clients, and contractors
* Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards
* Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes and efficiency
* Support project planning, scheduling, and cost control
*Qualifications*
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s preferred)
* *10+ years* of relevant engineering experience
* Professional Engineer (*PE*) license required
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and leadership abilities
* Experience leading engineering teams on complex technical projects
* Proficiency with relevant engineering software and tools (LARSA, MIDAS, CSi Bridge, MDX, Bentely Product Line, etc.)
*Preferred Skills*
* Project management experience
* Bridge Inspection Experience including up-to-date NHI certifications
* Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams
Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
