MRI Technologist Nights

UCHealth is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for night shifts to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team within our hospital-based imaging department. In this role, you will perform high-quality MRI examinations on patients of varying ages and conditions, ensuring accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and comfort. Working with radiologists, nurses, and other members of the care team, you will follow established imaging protocols, verify patient identification, obtain relevant clinical history, and position patients appropriately for each exam. You will operate and troubleshoot MRI scanners and related equipment, monitor image quality, and adjust parameters as needed to produce clear, diagnostic images. This position requires strict adherence to MRI safety procedures, including screening patients and staff for contraindications, managing access to magnet zones, and following infection control and contrast administration guidelines. You will document procedures in the electronic health record, assist with scheduling and exam prioritization during night hours, and support emergent and inpatient imaging needs.
