What You'll Do: As a Technical Sales & Service Rep, you will research, plan, and execute to grow sales and Baril market share through effective territory management including: relationship building and technical service at existing accounts, new prospect development and value selling to create a healthy pipeline of new account activity, and running effective demos to close new accounts that deliver profitable new revenue.
Your Accountabilities in the Role:
Researches the industry and competitors to stay abreast of new/current products and market opportunities, aligning new business targets to Baril's product offering and competitive advantages.
Researches, plans, and executes on qualified appointments and quoting that will increase customers and sales to achieve or exceed sales goals.
Builds and sustains strong relationships with existing clients, providing exceptional service and support to drive repeat business and loyalty.
Diagnoses and resolves paint and application issues effectively to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
Partners with the technical and service teams to deliver successful product demonstrations, discuss new formulations, and present key product attributes to effectively address client needs and showcase value.
Plans, organizes, and executes product launches, product enhancements, application equipment and other material items to provide the training and expertise that customers need for successful rollouts.
Presents at various meetings, educational events, and trade shows to build awareness of the Baril brand and product lines.
Maintains detailed records of technical and/or sales support activities, client interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system for accurate tracking and reporting.
Position Requirements:
Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Business, Biology, Engineering, or similar field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Experience: 3+ years of technical support and sales, providing a customer-facing experience within a similar paint and/or coating (liquid) industry, providing solutions regarding paint application, chemistry additives, and solvent issues.
Certification(s): N/A
Functional Skills: Highly organized with strong researching, planning and execution skills; exceptional attention to detail and follow up. Proficient in problem-solving and trouble-shooting product issues, with a strong technical aptitude to understand the makeup of the products, their applications on line, and convey their attributes effectively. Able to conceptualize to provide new product suggestions to the business.
Technology Aptitude/Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM systems preferred but not required.
Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; will interact, educate, train, and present new ideas/information to others, as well as communicate/influence all levels of the organization.
Leadership/Behaviors: Self-motivated, energetic, and driven by high ethical standards. Customer-centric approach with proven negotiation and influencing abilities, capable of building relationships, trust, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Goal-oriented with a natural ability to influence and educate; able to actively listen, collaborate with others, understand client needs, and provide customized solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and sales. Strong networking capabilities to build the brand. with a proactive approach to relationship-building.

Core Hours:
8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Schedule will be slightly flexible to be available to clients)
Typical Work Week:
M-F; 40 - 45 hours a week on average
