About the role You will be helping turn our new Distributed Social Networking Protocol (DSNP) into a concrete specification and help build out the DSNP ecosystem.
The code you write should be clear, maintainable, and scalable across projects.
Responsibilities
Research, design, develop, and test contracts, token incentive systems, and other blockchain technologies.
Brainstorm and evaluate applications for new tools and technologies.
Build and maintain client and server-side applications for integration and business logic.
Be involved in the global blockchain community; implement and integrate the latest improvement proposals.
Document new solutions and maintain existing ones.
Maintain a passion for building excellent products and take ownership of tasks.
Experience & Skills
Strong experience in backend development languages: Go, Python, TypeScript, Java, C++, C#, and/or Scala.
Experience designing and building scalable, fault-tolerant, secure distributed systems.
Familiarity with cryptography and public blockchains.
Strong working knowledge of public blockchains.
Understanding of complex data structures and algorithms.

About you You are a thoughtful, well‑rounded software developer familiar with cryptography and Ethereum‑like blockchains. You have several years of experience with Go, Python, TypeScript, Java, C++, C#, and/or Scala. You’re eager to expand your areas of expertise, diligent, hard working, creative, and open to new ideas.
Location Role will be based in New York City or Los Angeles.
