Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in requirements gathering sessions to interpret business needs from conceptual models into logical and physical data models.
• Create data models and define the structure and attributes of data elements.
• Develop data warehouse schemas and data marts derived from various internal and external data sources that support reporting requirements for business partners.
• Develop naming standards for all data attributes.
• Assist in the creation of data models and data record layouts to facilitate integration and data exchange with external partners, vendors and regulatory agencies’ applications and systems.
• Create Source to Target Mapping and publish to the Data Engineers to develop the ETLs and Data Pipelines.
• Responsible for documenting databases, processes and design configurations.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another four-year degree with significant IS experience or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience delivering Data Warehouse solutions
• 5+ years in relational and multi-dimensional data modeling using Erwin as Data Modeling tool

• Conceptual, Logical and Physical Data Modeling
• Data Modeling Tools: Erwin
• SQL Programming
• Relational Database Concepts
• Data Warehouse Concepts
• Dimensional Data Modeling and Notation
• Microsoft SQL Server
• Microsoft SSIS and SSAS (Tabular Models)
• Data Warehouse Technologies: Snowflake and/or Azure Synapse Analytics/AWS Redshift
• Agile development methods
• Jira & Confluence
