Position Summary: 

The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering orders for customers and suppliers around the Charlotte, NC area. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Complete all assigned delivery and pickup stops for customers and suppliers. 
  • Assist with warehouse operations during non-delivery periods. 
  • Communicate customer requests, concerns, or complaints promptly upon return. 
  • Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and safety regulations. 
  • Follow designated delivery schedules and make only authorized stops. 
  • Perform daily inspections of the assigned vehicle to ensure proper condition. 
  • Safeguard all customer orders and documentation against damage or loss. 
  • Organize delivery routes efficiently to optimize time and accuracy. 
  • Verify delivery accuracy by matching orders against customer invoices. 
  • Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly at all times. 
  • Load and unload products carefully and efficiently. 
  • Accurately complete and submit required billing and delivery paperwork. 
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. 
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and represent the company positively. 
  • Effectively promote company products and services when interacting with customers. 
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications: 

  • Computer proficiency 
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must pass drug test 
  • Must pass background check 
  • 1-2 years Driving/Delivery experience 

Education and Experience 

  • High School Diploma

This is a full-time onsite position with frequent trips to deliver and commute to various locations such as shops, vendor locations and commercial businesses; 8-hour days, Monday through Friday.
