*Responsibilities*
* Lead the architecture and implementation of large-scale cloud infrastructure solutions utilizing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, OpenStack, Rackspace, and VMware.
* Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments following best practices in service-oriented architecture (SOA), virtualization, and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
* Design and implement automation workflows using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, PowerShell, Bash scripting, and Jenkins to streamline deployment processes within DevOps pipelines.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define solution architecture for SaaS (Software as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), and web services integrations utilizing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
* Ensure compliance with security standards such as FedRAMP while managing cloud security protocols including VPNs, firewalls, encryption, and identity/access management.
* Optimize cloud infrastructure performance by monitoring system health metrics and implementing improvements for scalability and resilience.
* Provide technical leadership on system design, application development support, and troubleshooting complex issues across diverse operating systems including Linux and Windows environments.
*Qualifications*
* Extensive experience in solution architecture design for cloud computing environments with a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure components like S3 storage, NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB), MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server.
* Proven expertise in virtualization technologies such as VMware and Citrix; container orchestration using Kubernetes; automation tools including Terraform, Ansible, Puppet; scripting languages like Python, Ruby, PowerShell; and CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or similar tools.
* Deep knowledge of operating systems including Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows Server; familiarity with system management tools like PowerShell scripts or Bash shell scripting.
* Strong understanding of network security protocols including VPNs; experience with RESTful APIs; knowledge of DevOps practices; familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies such as Agile.
* Demonstrated ability to develop scalable solutions leveraging microservices architectures; experience with application development frameworks like .NET or Ruby on Rails is a plus.
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Professional Architect are preferred.
