To complement our maintenance team, we are looking for a motivated all-rounder to start immediately or by agreement for our Hotel Täscherhof and Welcome Hotel Täsch.

We are a family-run hotel in Täsch. The village is located approximately 6 km before Zermatt and the world-famous Matterhorn. The hotel is situated at the railway station of the Matterhorn Terminal to Zermatt, with a shuttle train running every 20 minutes.

Our two hotels consist of a total of 6 buildings with 110 rooms in total.

At the Täscherhof, we have an à-la-carte restaurant, two dining rooms, a sun terrace in summer, a small terrace in winter, and a parking garage with approximately 90 spaces.

  • Preparing, cooking, and plating dishes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or banquet events
  • Prepare ingredients (washing, chopping) and execute cooking methods like grilling, frying, baking, and steaming.
  • Adhere to safety, hygiene, and food sanitation regulations to ensure food safety.
  • Set up, maintain, and sanitize workstations, tools, and equipment before and after service.
  • Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards consistently.
  • Monitor food stock levels, report shortages, and assist with inventory management.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely order completion.
  • Central staff accommodation in the heart of Zermatt and Täsch

  • Proven experience as a Chef, Head Cook, or similar role.

  • Culinary school diploma or relevant certification preferred.

  • Advanced knowledge of diverse cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage a team under pressure.

  • In-depth knowledge of sanitation regulations and safety protocols.

  • Flunt in English, German and French is a plus
