Schedule: First Shift (Limited Hybrid - Up to 1 Day per Week)
Overview High-level
Systems Verification
role within the Space and Defense Group. You will lead the verification and validation (V&V) of spacecraft electronics, managing everything from test script authoring to hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) environmental qualification.
Responsibilities
Verification Planning:
Create and maintain test plans/procedures to verify embedded system requirements across software, firmware, power, and high-speed digital domains.
Technical Documentation:
Author and manage technical artifacts, test scripts, and reports for product qualification and production unit acceptance tests (ATP).
Engineering Analysis:
Use engineering fundamentals and computational software to perform requirement verification analysis for space electronic systems.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
Lead technical teams of engineers and technicians; participate in product teams to ensure program milestones are met within budget.
Troubleshooting:
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on complex hardware/software nonconformances or test failures.
Configuration Management:
Utilize formal processes to release and update drawings, procedures, and technical data.
Qualifications
Education:
BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
Experience:
Minimum
6 years
of experience in engineering.
Technical Depth:
Proven track record in
Digital, Power, or Mixed-Signal electronics design
and PCB prototyping.
Architecture:
Experience with microprocessors, microcontrollers, or
FPGA/ASIC
architecture.
Domain Expertise:
Experience in
Systems Engineering
for space electronic systems, including Aerospace/Defense modeling and requirement development.
Test Mastery:
Professional experience authoring test plans for unit, subsystem, and system-level verification under environmental stress.
