Job Overview Reporting to the Vice President of Engineering, the
Electrical Design Engineer
will act as the owner’s representative throughout our HPC projects life cycle for medium and low voltage electrical distribution systems.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, with P.E. license in the US
At least 8 years of relevant experience in low voltage electrical field within a design engineering firm, heavy industrial or manufacturing facility or mission critical data centers
Deep knowledge of relevant electrical industry standards and good engineering practices in the electrical field
Proficiency of equipment construction and standards for equipment like grounding systems, power transformers, standby generators, switchgear, cables, motors, VFDs and in general all the major components in an electrical distribution system for energy‑intensive data centers.
Demonstrated knowledge on the specification, sizing and selection of aforementioned electrical equipment
Experience in the design of electrical distribution systems, from load lists, to single lines, cable schedules, equipment arrangements and their interconnection.
Experience on typical software tools used in the design of electrical systems, like AutoCAD Electrical, Revit MEP, ETAP, SKM, CYME, EasyPower, EPLAN, SolidWorks
Previous experience working with or for Tier III or mission critical data centers is highly desirable
Excellent communication and team‑work skill
Act as owner’s representative throughout our HPC projects life cycle for medium and low voltage electrical distribution systems
Develop functional descriptions and conceptual design of electrical distribution systems, working autonomously or through external engineering firms to make sure they are progressed as necessary into basic and detailed engineering
Develop, review and validate as necessary typical engineering deliverables like drawings, diagrams, calculations, material/cable lists and electrical reports
Ensure design inquiries, field instructions, deficiencies and in general any technical matters relevant to the different ongoing projects are managed appropriately
Perform or support as necessary the specification, sizing and selection of electrical equipment
Lead and oversee equipment validation, installation and testing/commissioning in coordination with manufacturing and construction teams.
Stay current with Data Center power distribution trends and regulatory changes
Compensation
Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and market data for the region.
Total Compensation package may be inclusive of short‑term and long‑term incentives.
