Job Description Entity: Oracle America, Inc.
Job Duties Designs, develops, and programs methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse “big data” sources to generate actionable insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement. Interacts with product and service teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments. Develops and codes software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources. Identifies meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources; interprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis and experiments to product, service, and business managers. May telecommute.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Data Scientist‑related occupation.
Data science programming languages including R and Python; SQL, RDBMS, query optimization concepts and experience in querying and manipulating data for analysis.
Data visualization, dashboarding and reporting using tools including Tableau, Looker, and Matplotlib.
Statistical data analysis including quantitative analysis, statistical data mining, data insights, KPI dashboard, predictive modelling, data manipulation, data modeling, and EDA (Exploratory Data Analysis).
Machine Learning algorithms including decision trees, SVM, neural networks, time series, forecasting, classification, regression, clustering, graph data modeling, cross-validation, and model evaluation.
ETL and ELT, data warehousing and big data concepts.
Cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform.
Development on IDEs including PyCharm and Jupyter Notebook.
Agile Methodologies including Kanban and SCRUM.
